Asteroids Lightroom Presets

This Lightroom preset pack includes 7 presets.

I modeled this preset after the Asteroid City look. Wes Anderson’s Asteroid City tilts a little bit more onto the teal and green-toned look on the overall image, with slightly flatter contrast. I tried to match that a little bit closer, but felt that it just didn’t work well for as many images, so I went a bit lighter on the overall green and teal tone, and created a version with more contrast and one with quite a bit less. I also created a few different color variations that I felt worked well with a lot of the images I tested it on. When applying the preset, just make sure you make necessary adjustments to the white balance for your given image, though I have found it works fairly well just as is on most photos.

You will have to unzip the files after downloading. You will see the downloaded file show up as "Johnny Joo - Asteroids 2024.zip"

Quick guide for installing:

1. Download the file - you will then have a .zip file called “Johnny Joo - Asteroids 2024.zip”

2. Extract the files

3. In lightroom, click the plus icon to the right of presets, and choose “Import Presets”

4. Navigate to where you extracted the files, and import them into Lightroom
