When I visited Oregon in 2022, wildfires had been burning up forests in the distance. The fires were about 50-100 miles away at this point, and smoke from them had filled the skies while ashes rained down. The evening sunset brought an intense orange glow through the dark smoke that filled the skies, making for some interesting photos of the landscape.
