Understanding PASM: Mastering Your Camera's Modes

PASM, an acronym for Program, Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority, and Manual, represents a set of camera modes that allow photographers to control exposure settings. Mastering these modes is essential for adapting to various shooting conditions and achieving desired artistic effects. Sure, knowing your manual controls is very important in many situations, especially when you’re trying to achieve specific artistic choices for your image, but sometimes manual mode just doesn’t cut it, and that’s when the incredibly helpful PASM modes comes into play.

Download the full PDF for free below, which will explain the different modes. This is just a small sample from my full photography guide.
